ADVANCE READER PRAISE

“

I'm an avid reader of memoirs and this one surprised me. I couldn't put it down. It was longer than most memoirs I read, but this didn't seem long enough.

A fascinating look at a world so different from the one I loved in.

Gabriella did a wonderful job taking sensitive topics and showing nuance and humanity. A fascinating look back at a time that shaped much of today's "counter-culture." Things that are mainstream today were quite cutting edge then, like yoga, ecstatic dance, sacred sexuality, and psychedelic exploration.

Wow, what a story! You are a strong writer, Gabriella. This manuscript demonstrates hard work and a good grasp of the craft. I would most definitely put it in the hands of two or three friends of mine who would find it fascinating

In my capacity as a sex educator and founder of SexPositive World (chapters in sixteen cities and five countries), I organized large-scale events, including symposiums (Polytopia, EcoSex, and SPW Convergence) and ErosFest NW, a four-day erotic arts festival. I produced a sold-out presentation for NY Times bestselling author Christopher Ryan.

Passionate about food justice, local regenerative food systems, and the small farm movement, I founded a community on a small farm near Portland, Oregon. Three Goats Farm raises food for sixty-plus families via CSA (community-supported agriculture) and farmers’ markets. We teach and mentor new farmers and anyone interested in growing their own food.

Gabriella is a mother, grandmother, wife, partner, and community member. She loves growing food, cooking, dancing, playing with kids, writing, and spending time in nature. She is currently working on a second memoir.
